Drive-by Shooting

Most of my photo's come from the result of driving by and shooting pictures. Oft times the very pictures come from the inside of my car. Now before I am criticized for using such a horrible name, I too was once a bystander of a true drive by shooting. It was 1994, 11 pm at night. My cousin Lori and I were doing a craft project. I was waiting for my husband to get off work. We heard a loud "Bang!" and a scream. A man ran up on my porch and collapsed. Not knowing what was happening. I locked my door and called 911. After all, I did not know if the shooter was still out there.  Neighbors came over, and police and ambulance arrived. The man died 3 times on the way to the hospital, which was a mile away. He did live, though. Come to find out he cheated his partner in crime from fencing stolen property. The guy got even by hitting him with a 22g sawed off shoot gun. The bullet went in and out of the victim and lodged, flesh and all into my truck. I hated not knowing...
